Playa de la Paloma is located in western Asturias near Tapia de Casariego and features a small cove with rocky areas surrounded by cliffs, accessible by staircase from a nearby parking area. The beach has a freshwater spring and experiences significant tidal variation, with sand exposure and an "S"-shaped formation appearing at low tide that allows access to an adjacent cove, while high tide substantially reduces the sand area.
