Playa del Mareny de Vilxes is a maritime bathing zone located in the municipality of Sueca in Valencia province, Spain. The beach has a longitudinal open configuration with an artificial sand composition and a rigid promenade. It is bounded to the north by Playa Bega del Mar and to the south by the municipality of Cullera. The beach has a micromareal tidal range and currents flowing from south to north. Water quality in recent seasons has been classified as excellent.

Maritime bathing zone in a low coastal accumulation area. The beach has a high water line length of 807.7 metres and an average width of 55.4 metres. The sand composition is artificial in origin. Currents flow from south to north with a micromareal tidal range. The water body is categorized as a coastal mass of water under the Water Framework Directive.

Located in the municipality of Sueca, Valencia province, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain. The beach is accessible by vehicle with parking available. It has facilities for disabled persons including an accessible point service.

The water body achieves good status under the Water Framework Directive. Water quality is assessed weekly during the bathing season based on visual inspection parameters including water analysis, water appearance, and sand cleanliness. No direct coastal discharges affect water quality.

Risks

Potential short-duration contamination factors from rainfall, urban sewerage, and coastal discharges all assessed as low frequency with mild impact. No direct sewerage connections or natural geographical accidents (ravines, gullies) that could affect water quality during heavy rainfall. Phytoplankton proliferations are possible but not specifically documented for this beach. Jellyfish blooms are natural phenomena that may occur. Cyanobacteria are not typical in coastal waters and have not been detected in the Valencian coast.
