El Faro is a 1000-meter urban beach in Marbella, Andalucía, featuring shallow waters with sandy substrate and tranquil bathing conditions. The beach is 30 meters wide on average and experiences high occupancy during the bathing season. It is a natural Mediterranean coastal water body influenced by Atlantic waters, with moderate wave exposure and currents dominant toward the northeast.

Mediterranean coastal water body in the Guadalaro River mouth to Punta de Calaburra area. Shallow waters with sandy substrate. Micromareal range of 0–2 meters. Currents dominant toward the northeast. Moderate wave exposure with dominant winds from the east and east-southeast.

Location

Marbella, Málaga province, Andalucía. The beach is accessible on foot and by car. A maritime promenade and access ramps are available. Disabled access is provided.

Facilities

Red Cross post. Lifeguards and rescue equipment. Signage for hazards and general orientation. Toilets, showers, and waste bins. Cleaning service. Nautical equipment rental and nautical club available. Access to Puerto Deportivo de Marbella.
