Venus-Bajadilla is a natural coastal bathing water located in Marbella, Málaga, in the Mediterranean Sea. The beach extends for 1,220 metres with an average width of 50 metres and features sandy composition. Water conditions are characterised as tranquil with shallow depths and a substrate of sand. The beach is highly urbanised with a high degree of occupation.

Water

Coastal Mediterranean water influenced by Atlantic waters. Shallow water (aguas someras) with sand substrate. Micromareal range of 0–2 metres. Dominant current direction towards the northeast. Wave regime dominated by easterly and east-southeast winds (Levante). Moderately exposed to wave action. Annual precipitation 400–600 mm with torrentiality index 0–25%.

Location

Marbella, Málaga, Andalucía, Spain. The bathing area is situated along the Costa del Sol between coordinates 330913/4041641 and 331910/4041841 (UTM huso 30 ETRS 89). Access is on foot with disabled access available.
