Miño municipality, Coruña province, Galicia, Spain. Reference locality: O Fondal. UTM coordinates: 564010 X, 4801979 Y (European Datum 1950, UTM 29N).

Water Quality

Water body status is classified as poor. E. coli and enterococcus concentrations were monitored from 2008 to 2010. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 04/06 Enseada de Bañobre) has Class C classification indicating contamination history.

Risks

Yellow alert risk identified for occasional discharges associated with high-intensity precipitation events. Adjacent shellfish production zone has Class C contamination history.
