Playa Perbes in Andahío, Miño is a 430-meter-long maritime bathing beach with an average width of 45 meters composed of sand. The beach experiences moderate wave conditions with calm waters and attracts a high level of visitors. It is located in a semi-urbanized area within the Galicia Costa hydrographic district.

Water Quality

Microbiological parameters were monitored for E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations between 2008 and 2010. No historical contamination antecedents identified for the bathing zone. Adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 04/01 Ría de Ares-Betanzos) classified as Zone B with no antecedents.

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified.
