Marina de la Torre is a bathing water located on the Almería coast in the municipality of Mojácar, Andalucía, Spain. The beach extends 1,680 metres in length with an average width of 20 metres and comprises dark sand. It experiences moderate wave conditions typical of the Mediterranean coast. The bathing water is classified as a natural Mediterranean coastal water body with deep sandy substrate, not influenced by river discharge. High occupational density characterises the beach during the bathing season.

Mediterranean Sea coastal water. Deep sandy substrate with gravel and rocks. Micromareal range of 0–2 metres. Current regime dominates towards the east, east-southeast, and east-northeast. Wave exposure is moderate, with dominant waves from the east and east-northeast associated with levante winds.

Location

Mojácar, Almería, Andalucía, Spain. Access is on foot or by car. The beach is semi-urbanised with signage present. A sports port (Puerto Deportivo) is located in Garrucha, approximately 2 kilometres away.

Facilities

Red Cross post present. Lifeguard and surveillance equipment available. Toilets, showers, and waste bins provided. Beach cleaning service in operation. Water sports equipment rental available. No disabled access. Signage for hazards present.

Classified as Excellent for bathing seasons 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Short-duration contamination risk is low and microbiological in nature (24-hour duration). Risk assessment methodology: Deterministic (UNE 150008 standard). Low risk from jellyfish, phytoplankton, and macroalgae proliferation.
