Palomares is a bathing beach located in Cuevas de Almanzora, Almería, in the Andalusian coastal region along the Mediterranean Sea. The beach stretches 965 meters in length with an average width of 30 meters and is composed of gravel and golden sand. It is situated in a protected area (LIC designation) with low occupancy and isolated urbanization. Water conditions feature moderate wave exposure with currents predominantly moving east and east-northeast.

Wave regime is predominantly from the east and east-northeast associated with levante wind.

Cuevas de Almanzora municipality, Almería province, Andalucía. The nearest sports port is Villaricos, located 2 kilometers away. The beach is accessible on foot and by car.
