Sant Elm is a bathing beach located on Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach spans 130 metres in length and 30 metres in width with a medium slope and coarse sand substrate. It is a natural, free-access recreational area with high daily visitor numbers and a promenade. Water quality is classified as excellent across the monitoring years 2019–2022, with no short-duration or exceptional pollution episodes recorded.

Sant Elm is located in Andratx municipality on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain. Pedestrian access and vehicle access are available. Parking is provided.

Pedestrian access available. Disabled access available. Parking available. A beach chiringuito (refreshment stand) is present.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2019–2022). State classification 2022–23: Good. No short-duration pollution episodes (<72 hours) were recorded from 2019 to 2022. No exceptional pollution episodes (>72 hours) were recorded during this period. Floating waste accumulation is rated very low to low. Identified pollution sources include wastewater treatment discharge (EDAR), septic tanks, boats, and rainwater runoff.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish. No previous phytoplankton proliferation events. No previous cyanobacteria proliferation events.
