Cyanobacterial monitoring was conducted at representative zones including Domaso Camping La Quiete in 2009 and Gera Lario in August 2011, with detections of Sowella Lacustris, Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae, and Anabaena Lemmermanni. Microcystins exceeded 1 microgram per litre on 24 August 2009 and 21 September 2009. No toxic events have been reported.
