Praia das Valeiras is located south of São Pedro de Moel, reached via a sand road through a pine forest, with access on foot or by four-wheel-drive vehicle due to risk of vehicles getting stuck in sand. It has an extensive sandy shore, Atlantic waters, no lifeguard surveillance, and no facilities on site. The beach experiences dangerous conditions at high tide.
