São Pedro de Moel is one of the picturesque beaches on the Portuguese coast, located in an exposed mesotidal Atlantic Coast area with a temperate Mediterranean climate. The beach is sheltered by houses and situated in an open area of Pinhal de Leiria, slightly south of the Moel stream mouth. It is bordered to the north by steep rocks.
