Uvala Lone is a partially cultivated beach located in Rovinj at Punta Corrente along an indented coastline. The beach features a rocky surface with pebble areas and low and high vegetation. It stretches 1300 meters in length with a width of 20 meters and experiences high bather density during the season.

Adriatic Sea coast. Beach length 1300 m, beach width 20 m. Mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees), moderate underwater slope (15 to 25 degrees). Tide amplitude 49 cm. Average sea temperature during season 23.93°C. Salinity ranges from 34.3 to 39.3 during the season. Prevailing wind from north-east.

Location

Rovinj, Punta Corrente. Accessible by pedestrian path. No parking available.

Facilities

Café bar, sanitary facility, trash can. Floating safety lines present at beach front. Boat docking available nearby but outside the beach area.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with 10 annual samples from 2009 to 2025. Four-year rolling assessment periods established from 2009-2012 onwards.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year. Four-year rolling assessments show consistent monitoring under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Overall quality ratings achieved excellent, good, sufficient, and poor classifications across assessment periods.
