Bellagio, on the eastern shore of Lake Como in Como Province, Lombardy region. Altitude 202 meters above sea level. Accessible by staircase on the side of a tree-lined park.

Facilities

Restaurant, seating area with benches, pier with boat rental. Signage regarding animal access is not present.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: excellent (2019–2022 reference period). No cyanobacterial proliferation threshold exceedances recorded in the preceding four years. No toxic effects on bathers or aquatic environment reported.

Risks

Possible short-duration pollution events due to unfavourable meteorological conditions such as heavy atmospheric events, ground runoff, water stagnation, and spillages of various types. Potential accidental or unauthorized discharges of wastewater or contaminating debris.
