Italy Lake 1 - Excellent

Banderan is a public bathing beach on the northwestern shore of Lake Como in Griante, Lombardia. The beach is composed of pebbles and measures approximately 30 metres in width. Water quality is classified as excellent for the reference period 2019–2022. The beach is freely accessible and located at an altitude of 209 metres above sea level.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events may occur from unfavourable meteorological conditions such as heavy rain, with potential sources including runoff from terrain, water stagnation, and accidental or unauthorised discharges of wastewater or pollutants. No anomalous situations have been reported in the last eight years.
