Rosolina mare-Punta Caleri is a sandy beach maintained in a wild state located on the Adriatic coast in the Veneto region. It is the southernmost beach of the Rosolina Mare–Caleri shoreline, a strip of dunes between the mouth of the Adige River and the Po di Levante, separated from the mainland by lagoons and salt marshes. The beach is approximately 6 km south of the Adige River mouth and about 1 km north of the Porto Caleri canal mouth. The bathing area is accessible from the Litoraneo Botanical Garden of Porto Caleri.

Location

Rosolina, Rovigo Province, Veneto Region. The beach is located approximately 6 km south of the Adige River mouth and 1500 m south of Vittoria camping in Rosolina Mare, and approximately 1 km north of the Porto Caleri canal mouth. It is accessible from the Litoraneo Botanical Garden of Porto Caleri.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent for the years 2021–2024. Enterococcus: EI95° 21.409, EI90° 18.618, EC95° 51.563, EC90° 39.595. A wastewater treatment plant at Rosolina Mare (Via Foci Adige, 1.1 km from sea discharge) serves approximately 30,000 equivalent inhabitants. A private treatment facility on Albarella Island (serving approximately 12,600 equivalent inhabitants) discharges directly to sea.
