Location

Rossano, Cosenza Province, Calabria region. The bathing area extends over 1.166 km² and is located in front of agricultural land east of Fosso Frascone.

Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific active management measures are currently in place.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events identified from runoff originating in agricultural and urban areas at the mouth of Fosso Frascone. No cyanobacterial or algal blooms have occurred in the past four years.
