Location

Rossano, Cosenza province, Calabria region. The area is situated opposite agricultural land and the urban centre east of Fosso Toscano.

Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific active pollution control measures are currently in place.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events have been identified due to runoff from agricultural and urban areas via Fosso Toscano outlet. No harmful algal blooms or cyanobacteria have been recorded in the past four years.
