A rocky coastal bathing water located in the Bisceglie-Molfetta water body near Molfetta in the Puglia region. The area is characterized by a fossil hydrographic network and irrigation channels. The surrounding landscape is predominantly agricultural, with potential diffuse pollution sources from surface runoff. A wastewater treatment plant discharges treated effluent directly to sea in this area.

Water Quality

Potential diffuse pollution from agricultural activities via surface runoff. Potential point-source pollution from treated wastewater discharge. No algal or cyanobacterial blooms have been identified. No toxic algal proliferation has been detected.
