Baia del Corallo is a bathing area located in a zone with sparse urban settlements in the Sferracavallo district of Palermo. The area is fairly frequented during the summer period. The zone is characterized by cliffs descending toward the sea and is situated in proximity to areas with minimal anthropogenic impact.

The area is located near zones with minimal human impact and experiences rare cyanobacteria proliferation events. No macroalgae, phytoplankton, or potentially toxic species proliferation events have been reported.

The area experiences rare cyanobacteria proliferation events. Temporary pollution events were recorded in previous years (within the last 8 years).
