Shorthorn beach is on the south coast of Cornwall. It is a sandy beach resort, approximately 630 metres wide, backed by sand dunes. A stream flows onto the beach. Shorthorn beach was previously named Crinnis Golf Links beach.

Risks

There is a storm overflow from the Daniels Lane storage tank that discharges to the Crinnis Stream three kilometres upstream from the beach. The operation of the overflow can lead to a temporary drop in bathing water quality.
