Silbersee is a bathing lake located in the east of Langenhagen, north of the A2 motorway and south of the L382 road. According to local legend, pilots named it for its silvery shimmer when viewed from the air. The facility offers a playground, mini golf, sports activities, designated barbecue areas, and long sandy beaches, with one beach designated for dogs.
