Poland River 1 - Excellent

Śmieszek is a bathing beach located in Żory, in the Kleszczów district, near Western Town. The area features green scenery and a sandy beach used for recreation, with a kayak mooring station and a floating modular pontoon for water sports equipment users. The facility is administered by the Municipal Centre for Sports and Recreation in Żory.

Żory, Rybna, Silesian Voivodeship, Żory County. Located in the Kleszczów district near Miasteczka Westernowego.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021). Water suitable for bathing according to all 2025 monitoring results (E. coli: 15–590 jtk/100 ml; Enterococci: 45–200 jtk/100 ml). Maximum permissible concentrations: E. coli 1000 jtk/100 ml; Enterococci 400 jtk/100 ml. One unsuitable water rating recorded on 22/08/2018 due to large quantities of dead and decayed fish.
