Location

Sopot, Pomeranian Voivodeship, between beach entrances 14 and 15. The nearest town is Sopot itself, located on the Polish Baltic coast.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is excellent. Monitoring results show E. coli and enterococci levels well below maximum permissible concentrations (1000 CFU/100 ml for E. coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for enterococci). Cyanobacterial blooms have been identified as a recurring pollution source during summer months in previous years.

Risks

Cyanobacterial blooms have caused water unsuitability for bathing on multiple occasions in previous bathing seasons. In July 2024, oil stains were recorded, possibly related to a fire at Gdańsk Port.
