Spiaggia di Valle d'Acqua is a cove located along the Maratea coastline, reachable only by boat or kayak. The water is affected by freshwater springs in the shallow seabed, giving it a slightly salty composition, and the surrounding seabed and cliffs display varied coloring. Landslides have reduced the sandy area over time, and no land trail provides direct access to the shore.
