Spiaggia Hotel Pier

Spiaggia Hotel Pier is a bathing beach located in the Val Gola area near Riva del Garda, on the shore of Lake Garda in the Trentino Alto Adige region. The beach is approximately 5 metres wide and 35 metres long, situated about 5 kilometres south of Riva del Garda town centre. An adjacent nature reserve called Val Gola has been established to support fish reproduction. The bathing area has been classified as excellent for water quality in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Water

Lake Garda (Lago di Garda). The bathing area extends 1.3 square kilometres at an altitude of 65 metres above sea level. The water body belongs to the Sarca hydrological basin.

Location

Located in Val Gola locality, Pregasina, approximately 5 kilometres south of Riva del Garda town centre and bordering the municipality of Limone in the province of Brescia. An on-site hotel provides infrastructure and services.

Facilities

Hotel on-site. Animals are permitted in the bathing area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (years 2016–2019). Nitrate concentrations are well below vulnerability thresholds. Average total phosphorus concentration for the period 2014–2018 was 16 µg/l. No specific pollution sources have been identified. The only wastewater treatment in proximity is from an authorized accommodation facility.
