Spiaggia Via Lario is a bathing beach located in Desenzano del Garda on Lake Garda in the Brescia province of Lombardia, Italy. The beach has an estimated capacity of 200 swimmers based on a ratio of 2.5 square metres per bather relative to the solarium area. An adjacent green space of approximately 1,000 square metres is available for sunbathing. Animals are permitted in the area. The beach serves multiple uses beyond bathing and includes sanitary facilities.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is not possible as the beach has been under study since 2010.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events have been identified related to sewerage system failures and emergency discharges at the surface and depth of the sewer collector, as well as rainwater runoff reaching the lake. No cyanobacterial or macroalgal proliferation events were recorded in the preceding four years.
