Location

Desenzano del Garda, Brescia province, Lombardy region. The bathing area is adjacent to the Vo' campground. The Desenzano del Garda municipality office is located at Via Giosuè Carducci, 4, 25015 Desenzano del Garda, Brescia.

Services are available at the adjacent Vo' campground. Animal access is permitted at the discretion of the campground operator.

Water quality classification is pending. Identified pollution sources include emergency discharge systems in surface and depth of the sewage collector, runoff of rainwater reaching the lake, and meteorological changes. Short-duration pollution events are characterised by sewage system failures, specifically from storm overflow outlets.

Risks

Emergency discharges in surface and depth of the sewage collector. Storm overflow outlets have been identified as pollution sources. No episodes of cyanobacterial proliferation or macroalgal proliferation have been recorded in the past four years.
