Risks

Short-duration pollution events from sewage system failures and overflow outlets. Emergency discharges at the surface and depth of the sewage collector. Surface runoff from rainfall entering the lake. Cyanobacterial proliferation potential exists due to emergency discharges and rainfall runoff, though no cyanobacterial events have occurred in the past four years. No macroalgal proliferation episodes have been recorded.
