Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2015–2018). Escherichia coli: 95th percentile 40 CFU/100 ml, 90th percentile 20 CFU/100 ml. Intestinal enterococci: 95th percentile 21 CFU/100 ml, 90th percentile 13 CFU/100 ml.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events may occur due to intense meteorological events, accidental discharges, and malfunctioning overflow systems or treatment facilities. Cyanobacterial monitoring shows concentrations always below threshold values; no toxic effects on bathers or aquatic environments have been recorded. Macroalgae and phytoplankton proliferation assessment is not applicable.
