Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2015–2018). Escherichia coli at 95th percentile: 39 CFU/100 ml; at 90th percentile: 24 CFU/100 ml. Intestinal enterococci at 95th percentile: 12 CFU/100 ml; at 90th percentile: 8 CFU/100 ml. No anomalous events have been recorded. Cyanobacteria concentrations have remained below threshold values indicated in Annex B, point 3 of Ministerial Decree 30.03.2010. No toxic effects on swimmers or aquatic environment have been detected.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events characterised by intense meteorological events, accidental discharges, and malfunctioning of overflow systems or treatment facilities may occur.
