Sunčana uvala-Hotel Aurora is a cultivated beach in Mali Lošinj with a pebby surface and rocky areas. The beach stretches 560 metres along an indented coastline and features both low and high vegetation. During the swimming season, average sea temperature reaches 23.14°C. The beach holds a Blue Flag designation and attracts high bather density during the season.

Mali Lošinj. Beach is accessible by asphalt road. Free parking is available.

Restaurant, café bar, lifeguard service, sanitary facilities, showers, changing rooms, disabled access, playground, land sports, water sports, benches, parking area, trash cans, hotel. Floating safety lines provide seaside protection. Boat docking available on the beach.

Monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year. Data available from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality classifications recorded under Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ show assessments ranging from excellent to poor. Annual sampling has been conducted consistently with 10 samples per year from 2010 onwards. Final assessment periods contain 40 samples each.
