Sunčana uvala-Hotel Vespera is a cultivated beach located in Mali Lošinj, Croatia. The beach features stone plates as the predominant surface type with rocky areas, and is situated in a tourist zone. It has a wavelike coastline with a length of 365 metres and is protected by floating safety lines. The beach experiences high bather density during the season.

Sea water with average temperature of 23.15°C during the season. Salinity ranges from 34.2 to 38.1. Tide amplitude is 33.5 cm. Prevailing wind direction is north-east.

Location

Mali Lošinj. Access via asphalt road. Free parking available.

Season

Annual monitoring conducted from 2009 onwards with 10 samples per year from 2010 to 2025. Four-year assessment periods conducted with 40 samples each.

Water Quality

Water quality has been assessed annually from 2009 to 2025 under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Final assessments conducted over four-year periods show quality classifications of excellent, good, sufficient, and poor.
