Sunčana uvala-Hotel Aurora is a cultivated bathing beach located in Mali Lošinj, Croatia. The beach features a pebble surface with rocky sections and is situated along an indented coastline. The beach stretches 560 metres in length and experiences high bather density during the swimming season. The area is designated as a Blue Flag beach and is located within a touristic zone.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.14°C. Salinity ranges from 32.2 to 38.2 during the season. Tide amplitude is 33.6 cm. Prevailing wind is from the north-east.

Location

Mali Lošinj, Croatia. Access via asphalt road. Free parking is available. The beach has boat docking facilities directly on the beach.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Regular monitoring has been conducted with 10 samples taken annually from 2010 onwards, and 9 samples in 2009. Final assessment periods of 40 samples (or 39 for the initial period) have been completed consistently.
