Švenčionėliai in Švenčionių District, Lithuania. Coordinates: X=55.1689, Y=25.9852. Maximum capacity of approximately 20 people during peak season under favorable weather conditions.

Facilities

One toilet. Benches, two changing cabins, children's play equipment. Bins are emptied daily by Švenčionėlių Administration. No restriction on bringing pets to the beach.

Water quality classification: excellent from 2018 to 2024. Ecological status: good and meets good ecological potential. Water body type: Type 4. No point pollution sources in impact zone. No concentrated pollution sources in impact zone. No dispersed pollution sources in impact zone. No other surface water bodies upstream that could be pollution sources.

Risks

Short-term pollution possible during heavy rainfall; pollution disappears within 1–2 days after rain ends. Blue-green algae visual monitoring conducted; specific studies on phosphorus, nitrogen content, and water transparency not performed. No evidence of eutrophication impacting water quality.
