The area is part of the southern boundary of the Porto Cesareo-Torre Colimena Marine Protected Area. The water body is classified as excellent based on monitoring data from 2017–2020. No sewage discharges or watercourse outlets deliver pollutants to this bathing area.

Location

Located in the municipality of Nardò, province of Lecce, in the Puglia region. The bathing area is situated along the rocky coast and forms part of the Torre Lapillo hydrographic basin.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent (2017–2020). No direct wastewater discharges reach the sea, and no watercourses or drainage channels are present that could convey pollutants to the bathing area. No short-duration pollution events were recorded over the preceding four years.
