Collignon Beach is a bathing area located in Tourlaville in the Manche department of Normandy, France. Water Quality

Water quality monitoring has been conducted under the Directive 76/160/CEE classification system and simulated under the new Directive 2006/7/CEE. The beach monitoring includes fecal indicator germs and bacteriological flux analysis. The target water quality classification is 'sufficient quality' as defined by Directive 2006/7/CEE by 2015.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified include coastal discharges, domestic wastewater from collective and non-collective sanitation systems, stormwater runoff, agricultural activities, craft and industrial activities, port and mooring zones, and camping or mobile home areas.
