Anse du Brick is a bathing beach located in the commune of Fermanville. The beach is situated on the Normandy coast and is subject to monitoring under European bathing water quality directives. A vulnerability profile was established to identify and assess pollution sources affecting water quality and bather health.

Water Quality

Water quality monitoring has been conducted under Directive 76/160/CEE with simulations performed according to Directive 2006/7/CE. Classification results and detailed water quality assessments are referenced in the historical control data.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified include domestic wastewater from collective and non-collective sanitation systems, stormwater runoff, agricultural activities, artisanal and industrial activities, port operations and mooring zones, and camping or mobile home areas.
