Tréno is a bathing beach located in the commune of Arzon on the Presqu'île de Rhuys peninsula in Brittany, France. The beach is situated at the tip of the peninsula and serves as a recreational swimming area. The site experiences typical Atlantic coastal conditions including tidal currents and wave activity. The beach is subject to regular water quality monitoring and bacteriological surveillance.

Water Quality

Water quality monitoring conducted from 1999 to 2010 tracked bacteriological quality. Classification under both the 1976 Directive and the 2006/7/CE Directive. Arzon coasts classified as zone A for non-burrowing bivalves and zone B for burrowing bivalves under shellfish harvesting regulations. Potential pollution sources identified include collective sewerage, storm water networks, and non-collective sanitation systems.
