Location

Moneglia, Liguria, Italy. Located on the coast between the second and third tunnel connecting Riva Trigoso to Moneglia. Parking is available on the left side relative to the sea.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008-2011). River mouth identified as pollution impact source. No sewage treatment plants, pipelines, or Imhoff tanks are present on the coast.

Risks

River mouth discharge identified as a pollution source. Cyanobacterial blooms do not occur in the Ligurian Sea due to oligotrophic conditions. No cases of toxic algal strains have been recorded.
