Coastal waters of the Ligurian Sea. The water body is named Moneglia–Levanto and is classified as coastal waters with low stability (CWA3). The hydrographic basins are Rio Venino and Rio Campo.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008–2011). No coastal wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to predominant oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been recorded in the past four years.
