Vänern, Ursand is a popular bathing spot on Lake Vänern featuring a sandy beach approximately 200 metres long with grassy areas behind. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. The beach is located about 4 kilometres north of Vänersborg at Ursands Camping and is classified as an EU bathing water site. Water quality has been consistently very good in recent years with stable low bacterial levels.
