Waldbad Stützerbach is an artificial bathing pond built in 1934, located at the entrance of the village of Stützerbach on the B4 road from Ilmenau at an elevation of 585 meters. The facility is fed by the Taubach river, which is dammed at this location. The bathing water has three reinforced side walls, with one natural shoreline and a natural bottom. Water level fluctuations do not occur during the bathing season due to continuous water flow through the facility.
