Wolziger See is a large natural lake located approximately 14 km southeast of Königs Wusterhausen in the Dahme Lake District and part of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park. The lake covers 529 hectares and is part of the Storkower Lake Chain, connected by the Storkower Canal and draining into the Dahme River. The bathing site at Kolberg is monitored through fortnightly sampling by the local health authority and has received an excellent water quality rating for six consecutive four-year periods from 2016 to 2024. The lake has extensive reed beds in many areas and is popular with Berlin boaters due to its connection to wider waterway networks.
