A bathing water area located 500 meters south of Torrente Vodà in the municipality of Badolato, Calabria. The beach is characterised by a coastal plain and alluvial fan geomorphology. The seafloor has an average slope of 1.3% from the shoreline to the 5-meter isobath. Beach and submarine sediments range from 0.13 to 2 millimeters in grain size.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events occur from runoff in agricultural areas. Potential sources of contamination include Torrente Vodà, Fosso La Punta, and Torrente Ponzo. Cyanobacterial proliferation has not been recorded in the past four years. Macroalgal and phytoplankton proliferation has not been recorded.
