Als Odde beach stretches approximately 850 meters along the coast. The beach is 8–10 meters wide and consists of muddy sand with shells and seaweed. The water is very shallow. The area surrounding the beach is protected nature including meadow, salt marsh, bog, and heath, and is designated as a Natura 2000 site and an EU bird protection reserve.
