Novo-areal is a public bathing beach located in Novolund, Hadsund, Denmark. The beach stretches approximately 500 metres along Kattegat waters. The area near the bathing pier is approximately 25 metres wide over a stretch of 50 metres, while the remaining beach is approximately 50 metres wide. The seafloor consists of soft sand and mud with very shallow waters characteristic of a tidal flat. Sand banks and reefs can be exposed at low tide.
