Water quality classification follows European Directive 2006/7/CE categories: excellent, good, sufficient, and insufficient. Monitoring conducted by ARS (health authority) and DIREN (environmental agency). The vulnerability profile is classified as Type 2, indicating known pollution risks with identifiable causes.
