Baggersee Paspels is an artificial lake created through gravel extraction in the 1960s, located in the Rankweil municipality in the Vorarlberg Rhine Valley. The lake covers approximately 14.6 hectares and is fed by groundwater through post-tectonic loose sediments composed of gravel, sand, and silt. It is classified as a nutrient-poor water body with a maximum depth of approximately 28 metres.
