Torrente Bolvedro (Spiaggia Mila) is a bathing water located on the north-western shore of Lake Como in the Tremezzina municipality. The beach is pebbly with an approximate width of 30 metres. The water quality has been classified as excellent for the reference period 2019–2022. The bathing area is situated within the Adda hydrographic basin at an altitude of 209 metres above sea level.

Water quality classification: Excellent (reference period 2019–2022). No exceedances of regulatory thresholds have been recorded in the past four years. No toxic effects on bathers or aquatic environment have been documented.

Risks

Possible criticalities may arise from unfavourable meteorological conditions including heavy rainfall. Potential sources of short-term pollution include runoff from soil, stagnation, and various spills. Possible accidental or unauthorised discharges of wastewater or contaminating debris may occur. No cyanobacterial proliferation activities or toxic algae events have been recorded in the past four years.
